So many children are walking around with undiagnosed vision issues, and we understand that so many wonderful, hardworking therapists out there are facing truly significant financial hardship.
As healthcare and educational professionals, my co-host Robert and I want to give back to our community of followers who are in need of such assistance.
Applicants are only considered for scholarships if they qualify for legitimate, need-based financial assistance.

This is a need-based scholarship for school occupational therapists and OT assistants.
We’ll notify the winners via email and post them on this page.
Please only apply if you truly need financial help.

IMPORTANT: Scholarship Rules

- NEW REQUIREMENT: If you apply and WIN a scholarship, you consent that you will complete your Eyes First course within 30 days of being notified — so you can begin assessing vision deficits right away. If you do not complete the course within the first month, you will forfeit your scholarship to a runner-up.
- Application opens Thursday, July 30 and closes Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at midnight US EST (United States – Eastern Standard Time).
- We will notify the winners directly by email on Monday, August 10, 2026 by midnight US EST and update this page with the winners. To protect privacy, we are only adding the first initial and last name of the winners. If you see a name that’s the same as yours but you have not received a personal email from Miss Jaime, O.T., write to CustomerService@MissJaimeOT.com and we will verify if it is you OR someone else. Eyes First will be on sale August 12–18, 2026.
- Winners can take the course and obtain AOTA credit FREE.
- Winners will be chosen based on their scholarship answers.
- Any winners who paid for the course in Cohort 3 will be refunded.
- Winners are invited to join and participate in the private Facebook group for their cohort to collaborate with colleagues, ask questions, and potentially win prizes.

This is a needs-based scholarship, not a raffle or giveaway. So before you apply for one of the 10 scholarships for Eyes First: The Complete Vision Course for School-based Occupational Therapy Practitioners, please think carefully about whether this is truly where you’re at right now.
This scholarship is for someone who lost their home in a natural disaster or fire. It’s for the single parent who is barely making their income stretch to cover what their family needs. It’s for the person who is battling cancer or another serious illness, or caring for a loved one who is. Or for someone practicing in a country where this course costs the equivalent of a month’s salary.
We’ve also seen something really special happen over the years. Kindhearted OTPs, and even former scholarship recipients who got back on their feet, have come back to pay it forward for someone else. Not one of our winners, but a runner-up in our scholarship pool, or a colleague, or a student on fieldwork. That’s the truth, and it means everything to us.
